Arrearage Management Plan (AMP): Is a debt forgiveness plan for eligible residential customers. Balanced Payment Plan: Average payments over a year to allow for easier budgeting. Bill Guarantee Program: Add a co-signer as an alternative to keeping a deposit with PG&E. California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE) Program: Provides a monthly discount for income qualified households. Family Electric Rate Assistance (FERA) Program: Provides discounts for income qualified households of three or more. Has a higher income threshold than CARE but offers lower discount. Medical Baseline Allowance Program: Allows for additional quantities of energy at the lowest baseline price for qualifying residential customers who are dependent on life support equipment.

Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly are also called Assisted Living Facilities. They provide care for people who may need assistance with activities of daily living but do not need 24 hour nursing care. Some offer independent living, respite, hospice or dementia care.
